Hydroferrin Oral Drops 30ml

Active Ingredients
Iron (Ferrous sulfate) 10 mg/ml

Indications
Used for:

• Prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anemia

• Support of normal red blood cell formation

• Correction of low hemoglobin levels in children and adults

Dosage
Infants and children:

• 1–2 ml once or twice daily, or as directed by a doctor.
  Adults:

• 2–3 ml once or twice daily, or as prescribed.
  Shake well before use. Administer directly or mix with a small amount of water, juice, or milk.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to iron or any component of the formulation
Hemochromatosis or iron overload
Peptic ulcer or severe liver disease (use under medical supervision)

Side Effects
Dark-colored stools
Mild gastrointestinal upset (nausea, constipation, or diarrhea)
Rare: allergic reaction

Drug Interactions
May interact with antacids, tetracyclines, and some antibiotics—administer iron 1–2 hours apart from these medications.

Storage
Store at room temperature, protected from light.
Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children.
