Active Ingredients

• Budesonide 100 µg per inhalation

• Formoterol fumarate 6 µg per inhalation

Indications
Used for:

• Maintenance treatment of asthma in adults and children

• Management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) with airflow limitation

• Prevention of asthma symptoms and exacerbations

Dosage
Adults and children over 12 years:

• 1 inhalation twice daily, or as directed by a doctor

• Shake the inhaler well before use

• Rinse mouth after inhalation to reduce risk of oral thrush

Children 6–11 years:

• Use only under medical supervision; dose individualized

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to budesonide, formoterol, or any component of the formulation
Acute asthma attack or status asthmaticus (not for rescue use)

Side Effects
Oral thrush or fungal infection in the mouth
Hoarseness or throat irritation
Tremor, palpitations
Rare: allergic reaction or paradoxical bronchospasm

Drug Interactions
Caution with other corticosteroids or beta-agonists
Monitor if using medications affecting heart rhythm or blood pressure

Storage
Store at room temperature, away from heat and sunlight.
Keep the inhaler tightly closed and out of reach of children.
