Flixotide Evohaler 50MCG

Active Ingredients
Fluticasone propionate 50 micrograms per actuation

Indications
Used for:

• Asthma maintenance therapy

• Long-term control of airway inflammation

• Prevention of asthma attacks
  (Not used for acute attacks)

Dosage
Adults:

• Typically 100–500 micrograms daily in divided doses, as prescribed.

Children (4 years and above):

• 50–100 micrograms twice daily, or as directed by a doctor.

Rinse mouth after each use to prevent oral thrush.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to fluticasone or any inhaler components
Acute asthma attack requiring rapid-acting bronchodilator

Side Effects
Hoarseness
Oral thrush
Cough or throat irritation
Rare: systemic corticosteroid effects with prolonged high doses

Drug Interactions
Caution with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (e.g., ritonavir, ketoconazole).

Storage
Store at room temperature, away from direct heat or sunlight.
Do not pierce or expose the inhaler canister to high temperatures.
Keep out of reach of children.
