Composition

Each rectal suppository contains:

• Indomethacin 8 mg

Indications

Used for:

• Relief of mild to moderate pain

• Treatment of inflammation in conditions like arthritis

• Fever reduction

Mechanism of Action

Indomethacin inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, reducing prostaglandin synthesis, which decreases inflammation, pain, and fever.

Dosage & Administration

• Adults: 1 suppository rectally, 2–3 times daily as prescribed.

• Insert after bowel movement or as directed by a physician.

• Do not exceed prescribed dose.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to indomethacin or other NSAIDs

• History of gastrointestinal bleeding or ulcers

• Severe heart, liver, or kidney disease

Precautions
