Diprosone 0.5% Ointment 10 gm

Active Ingredient:

• Betamethasone dipropionate 0.5%

Class:

• Topical corticosteroid

Indications:

• Inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis

• Reduces redness, swelling, and itching

How to Use:

• Apply a thin layer to the affected area 1–2 times daily or as prescribed

• Gently rub into the skin

Common Side Effects:

• Skin thinning with prolonged use

• Stretch marks, burning, or irritation at the application site

• Rare: systemic absorption if used over large areas

Precautions:

• Avoid use on broken skin, face, or groin unless directed

• Do not cover treated areas with airtight dressings unless prescribed

• Not recommended for long-term use without medical supervision
