Active Ingredients
Benoxinate hydrochloride 0.4%

Indications
Used as a topical ocular anesthetic to provide temporary numbness of the eye surface during:

• Eye examinations

• Minor ocular procedures

• Contact tonometry or other diagnostic procedures

Dosage
Adults and children: Instill 1–2 drops in the affected eye(s) as needed.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to benoxinate or other local anesthetics.
Severe eye infections unless directed by a doctor.
Avoid use in patients with known corneal sensitivity disorders.

Side Effects
Temporary burning or stinging
Blurred vision
Rare allergic reactions
Prolonged use may cause corneal irritation or delayed healing

Drug Interactions
Use cautiously with other topical ophthalmic medications.

Storage
Store at room temperature, protected from light.
Keep bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children.
