Zolidocyrl 200 mg (6 Tablets)

Active Ingredient:

• Celecoxib 200 mg (Selective COX-2 inhibitor – Nonsteroidal Anti-inflammatory Drug, NSAID)

Therapeutic Class:
Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) – COX-2 selective inhibitor

Indications:

• Relief of pain and inflammation in:

  • Osteoarthritis

  • Rheumatoid arthritis

  • Ankylosing spondylitis

  • Acute musculoskeletal pain

  • Primary dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain)

• Provides anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effects with lower risk of gastric irritation compared to non-selective NSAIDs.

Dosage:

• Typical adult dose: 200 mg once or twice daily, depending on severity and clinical response.

• May be taken with or without food.

• Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible duration.

Precautions:

• Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to celecoxib, sulfonamides, active peptic ulcer, or severe hepatic or renal impairment.

• Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disease, hypertension, edema, or a history of gastrointestinal bleeding.

• Avoid use during the last trimester of pregnancy.

• Regular monitoring of blood pressure, renal, and hepatic function is advised with long-term use.

• May interact with anticoagulants, corticosteroids, or other NSAIDs, increasing risk of bleeding or kidney injury.

Possible Side Effects:

• Abdominal pain or dyspepsia

• Nausea, diarrhea, or flatulence

• Dizziness or headache

• Peripheral edema (swelling)

• Increased blood pressure

• Rare: allergic skin reactions, liver enzyme elevation, or gastrointestinal bleeding
