Description:
Uralyt-U is a granulated preparation used to help prevent and treat urinary stones and urinary tract acidity. It works by alkalinizing the urine, which can help dissolve uric acid stones and reduce discomfort associated with acidic urine.

Active Ingredients (per 1 g may include):

• Potassium citrate

• Sodium citrate

Indications:

• Prevention and management of uric acid kidney stones

• Alkalinization of urine in patients with acidic urine

• Supportive therapy for urinary tract infections where urine alkalinization is beneficial

Dosage and Administration:

• Dissolve the recommended amount of granules in water as directed by a physician

• Usually taken 2–3 times daily depending on urinary pH and medical guidance

• Dosage may be adjusted based on urine pH monitoring

Contraindications:

• Hyperkalemia or hypersensitivity to potassium or citrate salts

• Severe renal impairment

Precautions:

• Monitor potassium levels in patients with kidney disease

• Drink plenty of water during therapy

• Use under medical supervision in patients taking medications that affect potassium levels

Common Adverse Effects:

• Gastrointestinal discomfort such as nausea or diarrhea

• Rare: hyperkalemia if overused
