Active Ingredients:
Torsemide 20 mg + Amiloride hydrochloride (potassium-sparing component; strength varies by manufacturer)

Therapeutic Class:
Loop diuretic and potassium-sparing diuretic combination

Indications:

• Edema (fluid retention) associated with heart failure, liver cirrhosis, or kidney disease

• Hypertension (in selected cases requiring diuretic therapy)

Dosage:
Taken orally once daily in the morning, with or without food.

Precautions:

• Contraindicated in patients with anuria or severe renal impairment.

• Use cautiously in patients with diabetes, gout, or electrolyte imbalance.

Possible Side Effects:

• Increased urination

• Rare: high uric acid or mild increase in blood sugar
