Description:
Statukast contains Montelukast, which helps prevent and manage asthma symptoms and allergic rhinitis by blocking leukotrienes—substances in the body that cause inflammation, swelling, and constriction in the airways.

Active Ingredient (per sachet):

• Montelukast 4 mg

Indications:

• Prevention and treatment of asthma in children

• Relief of symptoms of seasonal or perennial allergic rhinitis

• Exercise-induced bronchoconstriction

Dosage and Administration:

• Dissolve the contents of 1 sachet in water and take once daily in the evening

• Can be taken with or without food

• Follow the pediatric dosing as prescribed by a doctor

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to Montelukast or any component of the sachet

Precautions:

• Not for acute asthma attacks

• Monitor for mood or behavioral changes in children

• Use caution in patients with liver impairment
