Orchazid 0.025% Eye Drops 10ml

Generic Name: Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride 0.025% ophthalmic solution

Formulation: Eye drops, 10 ml bottle

Indications:

• Relief of eye redness caused by minor irritation.

• Acts as a vasoconstrictor to reduce conjunctival congestion.

Dosage & Administration:

• Instill 1–2 drops in the affected eye(s) up to 2–3 times daily, or as prescribed.

• Wash hands before use and avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye.

• Short-term use only.

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to oxymetazoline or any component of the formulation.

• Narrow-angle glaucoma.

Precautions:

• Not for prolonged use; may cause rebound redness if overused.

• Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disease, hypertension, or hyperthyroidism.

• Remove contact lenses before use; wait at least 15 minutes before reinsertion.

Side Effects:

• Temporary stinging or burning

• Eye dryness

• Dilated pupils

• Rare: rebound redness, allergic reaction

Storage:

• Store at room temperature below 25°C.

• Keep the bottle tightly closed and protected from light.

• Keep out of reach of children.

Pregnancy & Lactation:

• Use only if clearly needed and under medical supervision.

Drug Interactions:

• Caution with other sympathomimetic agents.

Notes:

• Do not exceed recommended duration of use.

• If redness persists, discontinue and consult a doctor.
