Optest 0.05% Eye Drops 5ml

Generic Name: Ketotifen 0.05% ophthalmic solution

Formulation: Eye drops, 5 ml bottle

Indications:

• Relief of allergic conjunctivitis symptoms such as itching, redness, and watery eyes.

• Prevents release of histamine and reduces eye inflammation.

Dosage & Administration:

• Usually 1 drop in the affected eye(s) twice daily, or as directed by a doctor.

• Wash hands before use and avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye.

• Remove contact lenses before instillation; wait 15 minutes before reinserting.

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to ketotifen or any component of the formulation.

Precautions:

• Use with caution in patients with severe eye infections.

• Temporary blurred vision may occur; avoid driving or operating machinery immediately after use.

Side Effects:

• Mild burning or stinging sensation

• Dry eyes

• Headache (rare)
