Composition

Each suppository contains:

• Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) – 125 mg

• Chlorpheniramine Maleate – 1 mg

• Phenylephrine Hydrochloride – 2.5 mg

Indications

• Relief of cold and flu symptoms such as:

  • Fever and headache

  • Nasal congestion

  • Sore throat and body aches

  • Cough due to common cold or upper respiratory infections

Mechanism of Action

• Paracetamol: Reduces fever and relieves pain.

• Chlorpheniramine: Antihistamine that relieves sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes.

• Phenylephrine: Decongestant that reduces nasal swelling and congestion.

Dosage & Administration

• Route: Rectal

• Children (as directed by a physician):
  1 suppository every 6–8 hours if needed, depending on age and weight.

• Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to any component

• Severe liver impairment

• Severe hypertension or heart disease

Precautions

• Avoid concurrent use with other paracetamol-containing products

• Use with caution in patients with thyroid disease, diabetes, or glaucoma
