Description:
Nexium is an oral powdered formulation used to reduce stomach acid production. It is effective in the treatment and prevention of acid-related gastrointestinal disorders.

Active Ingredient (per sachet):

• Esomeprazole 10 mg

Indications:

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)

• Heartburn and acid indigestion

• Prevention of gastric ulcers caused by NSAIDs

• Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (acid hypersecretion)

Dosage and Administration:

• Dissolve 1 sachet in water and take once daily, preferably in the morning before meals

• Swallow the solution immediately after preparation

• Follow physician instructions for specific conditions

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to esomeprazole or other PPIs

Precautions:

• Use with caution in patients with severe liver impairment

• Long-term use may require monitoring of magnesium and vitamin B12 levels

• Not recommended for immediate relief of acute heartburn
