Nevilob Plus 5\12.5mg 20 Tablets

Indications:

• Treatment of essential hypertension in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by monotherapy

• May also help reduce the risk of cardiovascular complications in patients with both hypertension and angina

Mechanism of Action:

• Bisoprolol: Selective β1-adrenergic receptor blocker that reduces heart rate, cardiac output, and renin release.

• Amlodipine: Inhibits calcium influx in vascular smooth muscle, causing vasodilation and lowering peripheral vascular resistance.
  The combined effect leads to effective blood pressure reduction and improved cardiac workload balance.

Dosage:

• Usual adult dose: One tablet once daily, preferably at the same time each day

• Can be taken with or without food

• Dose adjustments should be made based on clinical response

Precautions:

• Avoid in patients with severe bradycardia, heart block, or decompensated heart failure

• Use cautiously in hepatic impairment or hypotension

• Do not discontinue abruptly; taper gradually under medical supervision

Common Side Effects:

• Fatigue, dizziness, or headache

• Bradycardia

• Peripheral edema

• Flushing

• Gastrointestinal discomfort
