Active Ingredient:

• Nimesulide 100 mg

Indications:

• Relief of pain and inflammation associated with:

  • Musculoskeletal disorders (e.g., arthritis, tendonitis)

  • Dental pain

  • Dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain)

  • Postoperative pain

  • Fever reduction

Mechanism of Action:

• Nimesulide inhibits cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), reducing prostaglandin synthesis.

• This results in anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effects.

Dosage and Administration:

• Adults: 100 mg twice daily after meals.

• Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible.

• Not recommended for children under 12 years.

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to nimesulide or other NSAIDs

• Active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding

• Severe hepatic or renal impairment

• History of hepatotoxic reactions to nimesulide
