Medication Name: Gynoprogest 2mg 28 Tablets

Active Ingredient:

• Dienogest 2 mg

Pharmacological Class:
Progestin hormone (synthetic derivative of progesterone)

Dosage Form:
Tablets — each tablet contains 2 mg of dienogest

Indications:

• Treatment of endometriosis

• Management of pelvic pain associated with endometriosis

• Hormonal regulation in conditions where progesterone support is needed

Mechanism of Action:
Dienogest acts by suppressing ovarian estrogen production and inhibiting the proliferation of endometrial tissue, both in the uterus and in ectopic sites. This helps reduce pain and bleeding related to endometriosis.

Dosage and Administration:

• One tablet daily at the same time each day, continuously without breaks.

• Treatment can be started on any day of the menstrual cycle.

Precautions:

• Use with caution in patients with a history of thromboembolic disorders, liver disease, or hormone-sensitive tumors.

• Discontinue if severe depression, persistent headache, or visual disturbances occur.
