Gabimedra 15 mg

1. Active Ingredient:
Mirogabalin 15 mg (as mirogabalin besylate).

2. Drug Class:
Gabapentinoid; α2δ calcium-channel ligand.

3. Dosage:
Usually started at 5 mg twice daily and gradually increased according to response and tolerability. Maximum dose is generally 15 mg twice daily (30 mg/day) in patients with normal renal function. Dose adjustment is required in renal impairment.

4. Indication:
Treatment of neuropathic pain.

5. Common Use:
Management of peripheral neuropathic pain, including diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain and post-herpetic neuralgia.

6. Contraindication:
Hypersensitivity or allergy to mirogabalin or any component of the formulation.

7. Precautions:

• Use cautiously in patients with renal impairment.
• May cause dizziness and drowsiness; caution with driving or operating machinery.
• Avoid or limit alcohol and other CNS depressants.
• Monitor for peripheral edema and weight gain.

8. Common Side Effects:
Dizziness, somnolence (drowsiness), peripheral edema, and weight gain.

9. Storage:
Store according to the manufacturer’s instructions, generally at room temperature, protected from excessive heat and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
