Active Ingredients:

• Amoxicillin 400 mg

• Clavulanic acid 57 mg
  (per 5 ml of suspension)

Pharmacological Class:
Broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic combined with a beta-lactamase inhibitor

Indications:
Used for bacterial infections such as:

• Ear, nose, and throat infections (e.g., otitis media, sinusitis, tonsillitis)

• Lower respiratory tract infections (e.g., bronchitis, pneumonia)

• Urinary tract infections

• Skin and soft tissue infections

Mechanism of Action:

• Amoxicillin: Kills bacteria by inhibiting cell wall synthesis.

• Clavulanic acid: Prevents bacterial resistance by inhibiting beta-lactamase enzymes.

Dosage (General Pediatric Guide):

• Dose depends on body weight (usually 25–45 mg/kg/day of amoxicillin, divided every 12 hours).

• Must be determined by a physician based on infection type and severity.

Administration Instructions:

• Shake well before each use.

• Administer with food to reduce stomach upset.

• Store in a refrigerator after reconstitution; discard after 7 days.

Precautions:
