Active Ingredients:

• Amoxicillin 250 mg

• Clavulanic acid 62.5 mg
  (per 5 ml of suspension)

Pharmacological Class:
Broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic combined with a beta-lactamase inhibitor

Indications:
Used for bacterial infections, including:

• Respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia, sinusitis, tonsillitis)

• Ear, nose, and throat infections

• Urinary tract infections

• Skin and soft tissue infections

Mechanism of Action:

• Amoxicillin: Inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial death.

• Clavulanic acid: Inhibits beta-lactamase enzymes, preventing bacterial resistance and enhancing amoxicillin activity.

Dosage (General Pediatric Guide):

• Typically 25–45 mg/kg/day of amoxicillin, divided every 12 hours.

• Dose and duration should be determined by a physician based on infection type and patient weight.

Administration Instructions:

• Shake well before each use.

• Take with food to reduce gastrointestinal discomfort.

• Store in the refrigerator after reconstitution; discard after 7 days.

Precautions:

• Contraindicated in patients allergic to penicillin or cephalosporins.
