Composition

• Active Ingredient: Betamethasone Valerate 0.1%

Indications

• Treatment of inflammatory skin conditions such as:

  • Eczema

  • Psoriasis

  • Dermatitis

  • Allergic skin reactions

Mechanism of Action

• Betamethasone is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, redness, and itching by suppressing the immune response in the skin

Dosage & Administration

• Route: Topical

• Apply a thin layer to the affected area 1–2 times daily

• Gently massage into the skin until fully absorbed

• Use short-term unless directed by a doctor

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to betamethasone or any component of the cream

• Viral, bacterial, or fungal skin infections unless treated concomitantly

Precautions

• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes

• Do not use on broken or infected skin without medical supervision

• Prolonged use may cause skin thinning or other side effects

Side Effects

• Burning, stinging, or irritation at the application site

• Rare: allergic reactions, skin thinning, stretch marks, or discoloration
