Nasostop 0.1% Adult Nasal Drops 15ml

Generic Name: Xylometazoline Hydrochloride 0.1% nasal drops

Formulation: Nasal drops, 15 ml bottle

Indications:

• Relief of nasal congestion in adults due to colds, sinusitis, or allergic rhinitis.

• Reduces swelling in the nasal passages to improve breathing.

Dosage & Administration:

• Adults and children over 12 years: 1–2 drops in each nostril 2–3 times daily, or as prescribed.

• Do not exceed 3 doses in 24 hours.

• Blow the nose gently before use.

• Use for the shortest possible duration, typically not more than 5–7 days, to avoid rebound congestion.

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to xylometazoline or any component of the formulation.

• Severe hypertension, heart disease, or hyperthyroidism (use with caution).

Precautions:

• Avoid prolonged or excessive use to prevent rebound congestion.

• Avoid contact with eyes.

• Consult a doctor if you have high blood pressure, diabetes, or heart problems.

Side Effects:

• Mild nasal irritation or burning

• Sneezing

• Rare: headache, dizziness, increased blood pressure

Storage:

• Store at room temperature below 25°C.

• Keep the bottle tightly closed.

• Keep out of reach of children.

Pregnancy & Lactation:

• Use only if clearly needed and under medical supervision.

Drug Interactions:

• Avoid concurrent use with other nasal decongestants.

• Use caution if taking sympathomimetic medications.

Notes:
