Dexatrol Eye Drops 5ml

Active Ingredients
Dexamethasone 0.1%

Indications
Used for the treatment of ocular inflammation, including:

• Allergic conjunctivitis

• Postoperative inflammation

• Uveitis

• Other inflammatory eye conditions as prescribed by a doctor

Dosage
Adults and children: Instill 1–2 drops in the affected eye(s) 2–4 times daily, or as directed by a doctor.
Remove contact lenses before use and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to dexamethasone or other corticosteroids.
Viral, fungal, or mycobacterial eye infections unless combined with appropriate antimicrobial therapy.
Glaucoma or history of steroid-induced ocular hypertension unless monitored closely.

Side Effects
Temporary burning or stinging
Blurred vision
Eye irritation or redness
Rare: increased intraocular pressure, cataract formation, delayed wound healing, or allergic reaction

Drug Interactions
Use cautiously with other topical ophthalmic medications.
Avoid concurrent use with other corticosteroid eye products unless prescribed.

Storage
Store at room temperature, protected from light.
Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children.
