Active Ingredients (per 200 ml):

• Sodium 45 mEq

• Potassium 20 mEq

• Chloride 35 mEq

• Citrate 31 mEq

• Glucose 25 g/L

Indications:

• Prevention and treatment of dehydration caused by diarrhea, vomiting, or excessive sweating

• Electrolyte and fluid replacement in children and adults

Mechanism of Action:

• Provides a balanced combination of electrolytes and glucose to enhance water absorption in the intestines

• Restores fluid and electrolyte balance quickly and efficiently

Dosage and Administration:

• Children: 50–100 ml after each loose stool or vomiting episode

• Adults: As needed to maintain hydration

• Can be given in small, frequent sips

• Ready to drink; no need for dilution

Contraindications:

• Severe hypernatremia

• Hypersensitivity to any component

Precautions:

• Use caution in patients with kidney disease or other electrolyte imbalances

• Monitor hydration status in infants and young children

Common Adverse Effects:

• Rare: mild gastrointestinal discomfort

• Rare: allergic reaction
