Chartoreg Co 80/5 mg (28 Tablets)

Active Ingredients:

• Valsartan 80 mg (Angiotensin II receptor blocker)

• Amlodipine 5 mg (Calcium channel blocker)

Therapeutic Class:
Antihypertensive combination (ARB + Calcium channel blocker)

Indications:

• Management of essential hypertension (high blood pressure)

• For patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by either valsartan or amlodipine alone

Dosage:
One tablet once daily, with or without food.
Take at the same time each day.
Dose may be adjusted by the physician based on blood pressure response and clinical condition.

Precautions:

• Contraindicated during pregnancy and in severe hepatic impairment.

• Use with caution in kidney disease or heart failure.

• Regular monitoring of blood pressure, renal function, and electrolytes is advised.

• Avoid potassium supplements or potassium-sparing diuretics unless prescribed.

• Do not stop treatment abruptly without consulting the physician.

Possible Side Effects:

• Dizziness, lightheadedness, or headache

• Swelling of ankles or feet (due to amlodipine)

• Fatigue or flushing

• Mild stomach discomfort

• Rarely: low blood pressure or increased potassium levels

Store below 25°C, in a dry place away from heat, light, and moisture.
