• Drospirenone 3 mg

Pharmacological Class:
Combined oral contraceptive pill (COC) — contains estrogen and progestogen.

Dosage Form:
Film-coated tablets — 21 tablets per pack (followed by a 7-day tablet-free interval).

Indications:

• Prevention of pregnancy (contraception)

• Regulation of menstrual cycles

• Treatment of moderate acne related to hormonal imbalance (in women who also desire contraception)

• Reduction of premenstrual symptoms such as bloating or mood changes
