Active Ingredients
Salbutamol sulfate 100 micrograms per actuation

Indications
Used for:

• Relief of bronchospasm in asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

• Prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm

• Rapid-acting bronchodilator for acute asthma symptoms

Dosage
Adults and children over 4 years:

• 1–2 inhalations every 4–6 hours as needed, or as directed by a doctor.

• For exercise-induced bronchospasm: 2 inhalations 15–30 minutes before exercise.
  Do not exceed the maximum prescribed dose.

Children 2–4 years:

• Use only under medical supervision.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to salbutamol or any component of the inhaler
Severe tachyarrhythmia

Side Effects
Tremor
Nervousness or anxiety
Palpitations or rapid heartbeat
Headache
Rare: allergic reaction, paradoxical bronchospasm

Drug Interactions
Caution with other sympathomimetic drugs, beta-blockers, or diuretics.
Monitor patients on MAO inhibitors or tricyclic antidepressants.

Storage
Store at room temperature, away from heat and direct sunlight.
Do not pierce or expose the inhaler canister to high temperatures.
Keep out of reach of children.
