Vental Compositum Inhaler 200 Doses

Active Ingredients

• Salbutamol sulfate 100 µg per actuation

• Ipratropium bromide 20 µg per actuation

Indications
Used for:

• Relief and management of bronchospasm in asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

• Acute exacerbations or prevention of bronchospasm

• Patients requiring both a short-acting beta-agonist and anticholinergic therapy

Dosage
Adults and children over 12 years:

• 1–2 inhalations every 4–6 hours as needed, or as directed by a doctor.
  Children 6–12 years:

• 1 inhalation every 6–8 hours as prescribed.
  Do not exceed the maximum prescribed dose.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to salbutamol, ipratropium, or any component of the inhaler
Severe tachyarrhythmia

Side Effects
Tremor
Palpitations or rapid heartbeat
Dry mouth
Nervousness or anxiety
Rare: allergic reaction, paradoxical bronchospasm

Drug Interactions
Caution with other sympathomimetic agents, anticholinergics, or beta-blockers.
Monitor patients on MAO inhibitors or tricyclic antidepressants.

Storage
Store at room temperature, away from heat and direct sunlight.
Do not pierce or expose the inhaler canister to high temperatures.
Keep out of reach of children.
