Active Ingredients

• Hydroquinone 2–4% (depigmenting agent)

• Tretinoin 0.025–0.05% (retinoid)

• Mild corticosteroid (e.g., fluocinolone acetonide 0.01%)

Indications

• Treatment of melasma (hyperpigmentation on the face)

• Sun-induced dark spots or uneven skin tone

How to Use

• Clean and dry the affected area before application

• Apply a thin layer once daily, usually at night

• Use sunscreen during the day to prevent new pigmentation

• Duration: Typically 8–12 weeks or as directed by a dermatologist

Common Side Effects

• Mild redness, irritation, or peeling

• Temporary stinging or burning sensation

• Rare: skin thinning or increased sensitivity

Contraindications

• Allergy to hydroquinone, tretinoin, or corticosteroids

• Pregnant or breastfeeding women unless prescribed by a doctor

• Active skin infections in the area of application

Important Notes

• Avoid excessive sun exposure

• Use only on the affected areas, not the whole face

• Discontinue if severe irritation occurs and consult a doctor
