Torseretic 100 mg (30 Tablets)

Active Ingredients:
Torsemide 100 mg + Amiloride hydrochloride (combination strength may vary by manufacturer)

Therapeutic Class:
Loop diuretic with potassium-sparing diuretic combination

Indications:

• Treatment of edema (fluid retention) due to heart failure, liver cirrhosis, or kidney disease

• Management of hypertension in certain cases when diuretic therapy is indicated

Dosage:
As prescribed by the physician.
Usually taken once daily in the morning with or without food.
Dosage is individualized depending on response and medical condition.

Precautions:

• Contraindicated in patients with anuria, severe renal impairment, or hypersensitivity to sulfonamides.

• Use with caution in patients with diabetes, gout, or electrolyte imbalance.

• Regular monitoring of electrolytes (especially potassium and sodium) is recommended.

• Avoid concurrent use with other strong diuretics unless directed by a doctor.

Possible Side Effects:

• Increased urination

• Dizziness or low blood pressure

• Muscle cramps or weakness (due to electrolyte changes)

• Nausea or stomach discomfort

• Rarely: elevated uric acid or blood sugar levels
