Generic Name: Sodium Chloride 0.9% (Isotonic saline solution)

Formulation: Nasal drops, 15 ml bottle

Indications:

• Relief of nasal congestion and dryness in babies and young children.

• Helps clear nasal passages and maintain moisture.

• Safe for daily use to support normal breathing and comfort.

Dosage & Administration:

• Instill 1–2 drops in each nostril as needed.

• Can be used several times daily.

• Gently wipe away excess solution with a clean tissue.

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation (very rare).

Precautions:

• Ensure the tip of the dropper does not touch the nostril to avoid contamination.

• Use with caution in children with nasal injuries or infections.

Side Effects:

• Generally well tolerated.

• Rare: mild nasal irritation or sneezing.
