Olfen 100 mg SR Tablets

Active Ingredient:
Diclofenac sodium 100 mg (Sustained Release)

Drug Class:
Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID)

Indications:
• Osteoarthritis
• Rheumatoid arthritis
• Ankylosing spondylitis
• Acute musculoskeletal pain
• Low back pain
• Post-traumatic pain
• Dysmenorrhea

Dosage:
The usual dose is 100 mg once daily.
In some cases, the total daily dose may be adjusted according to severity.
Swallow whole; do not crush or chew.

Contraindications:
• Hypersensitivity to diclofenac or other NSAIDs
• History of asthma, urticaria, or allergic reactions after NSAIDs
• Active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding
• Severe hepatic or renal impairment
• Severe heart failure
• Third trimester of pregnancy

Precautions:
• Increased risk of gastrointestinal bleeding or ulceration
• May increase risk of cardiovascular thrombotic events
• Use cautiously in elderly patients
• Monitor liver and kidney function during prolonged use

• Nausea
• Dyspepsia
• Abdominal pain
• Headache
• Dizziness
• Elevated liver enzymes
