Active Ingredient:
Human Insulin (Biphasic Isophane Insulin Injection 30/70)

• 30% soluble insulin (short-acting)

• 70% isophane insulin (intermediate-acting)

Pharmacological Class:
Antidiabetic (Human Insulin – intermediate and short-acting mixture)

Indication:
Indicated for the treatment of diabetes mellitus in patients who require insulin to control blood glucose levels.

Dosage:
Dosage is individualized according to blood glucose levels, diet, and physical activity.
Usually administered subcutaneously once or twice daily before meals.

Administration:

• For use with compatible insulin delivery pens.

• Inject subcutaneously; do not administer intravenously.

• Rotate injection sites within the same region to prevent lipodystrophy.

• Gently roll the penfill between the hands before use until the suspension appears uniformly milky.

• Use only when the suspension is evenly mixed without clumps.

Precautions:

• Monitor blood glucose levels regularly.

• Adjust dose in cases of illness, stress, or major lifestyle changes.

• Be alert for hypoglycemia symptoms such as sweating, dizziness, or confusion.

• Avoid alcohol, which may enhance hypoglycemic effects.
