Medication Name: Mellitofix Met 1000/12.5mg 30 Tablets

Active Ingredients:

• Empagliflozin 12.5 mg

• Metformin Hydrochloride 1000 mg

Pharmacological Class:
Combination of SGLT2 inhibitor and biguanide antidiabetic agent

Indication:
Used in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus to improve glycemic control when combined therapy with empagliflozin and metformin is appropriate, alongside proper diet and exercise.

Dosage:
Typically one tablet once or twice daily, depending on glycemic response and medical advice.
Dose adjustment should be guided by renal function and individual therapeutic goals.

Administration:

• Take orally with meals to minimize gastrointestinal side effects from metformin.

• Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew.

Precautions:
