Active Ingredient:
Insulin Lispro 100 IU/ml

Pharmacological Class:
Rapid-acting insulin analog

Indication:
Used in adults and children with diabetes mellitus (type 1 or type 2) to control postprandial (after-meal) blood glucose levels.

Dosage:
The dose and timing are individualized based on blood glucose monitoring, diet, and physical activity. It is typically injected within 15 minutes before a meal or immediately after eating.

Administration:

• Administered subcutaneously using the prefilled KwikPen device.

• Rotate injection sites (abdomen, thigh, or upper arm) to reduce the risk of lipodystrophy.

• Can be used in combination with longer-acting insulin if prescribed by a physician.

Precautions:

• Monitor blood glucose levels regularly to avoid hypoglycemia.

• Adjust dosage in cases of illness, stress, or changes in physical activity or diet.

• Do not share pens to prevent transmission of infections.

• Store unused pens in the refrigerator; in-use pens may be kept at room temperature (below 30°C) for up to 28 days.

Possible Side Effects:
