Active Ingredient:
Insulin Lispro 100 IU/ml

Pharmacological Class:
Rapid-acting insulin analog

Indication:
Used in the treatment of diabetes mellitus (type 1 and type 2) to control blood glucose levels, especially around meal times.

Dosage:
The dose and timing are individualized based on blood glucose monitoring, diet, and physical activity. It is usually administered shortly before meals (within 15 minutes) or immediately after.

Administration:

• For subcutaneous injection using an insulin pen compatible with the cartridges.

• Injection sites should be rotated (abdomen, thigh, upper arm) to prevent lipodystrophy.

• May also be used in insulin pumps if prescribed.

Precautions:

• Monitor blood glucose frequently to avoid hypoglycemia.

• Adjust dose during illness, stress, or changes in diet or physical activity.

• Do not mix with insulin preparations other than those specifically recommended.

• Store unused cartridges in the refrigerator; once in use, keep at room temperature and discard after 28 days.

Possible Side Effects:
Hypoglycemia (most common), local injection site reactions (redness, swelling, itching), lipodystrophy, and rarely allergic reactions.
