Active Ingredients:

Amlodipine 5 mg – Calcium channel blocker

Valsartan 160 mg – Angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB)

Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg – Thiazide diuretic
Therapeutic Class:
Triple combination antihypertensive medication
Indications:

Essential hypertension (used when blood pressure is not adequately controlled by monotherapy or dual therapy)

Helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular complications such as stroke, heart attack, and kidney damage caused by high blood pressure
Dosage:

Recommended dose: One tablet once daily

May be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day

Dose selection should depend on prior antihypertensive therapy and patient tolerance
Mechanism of Action:

Amlodipine: Relaxes and widens blood vessels by inhibiting calcium influx into vascular smooth muscle.

Valsartan: Blocks angiotensin II receptors, preventing vasoconstriction and lowering blood volume.

Hydrochlorothiazide: Increases urine output (diuretic effect), reducing fluid retention and blood pressure.

Severe renal or hepatic impairment

Anuria (no urine output)

Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients or sulfonamide derivatives
