Efemyo Eye Drops 10ml

Generic Name: Ketorolac Tromethamine 0.5% ophthalmic solution

Formulation: Eye drops, 10 ml bottle

Indications:

• Relief of ocular inflammation and pain.

• Used after eye surgery or for conditions like allergic conjunctivitis or keratitis.

Dosage & Administration:

• Typically 1 drop in the affected eye(s) every 6–8 hours, or as prescribed by a doctor.

• Wash hands before use and avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye.

• Remove contact lenses before instillation; wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting.

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to ketorolac, other NSAIDs, or any component of the formulation.

• Active eye infection or corneal damage (unless directed by a doctor).

Precautions:

• Use with caution in patients with a history of NSAID hypersensitivity.

• May cause temporary blurred vision after application; avoid driving or operating machinery immediately if vision is affected.

Side Effects:

• Mild burning or stinging

• Eye irritation or redness

• Headache or dizziness (rare)

• Allergic reactions (rare)

Storage:

• Store at room temperature below 25°C.

• Keep the bottle tightly closed and protected from light.

• Keep out of reach of children.

Pregnancy & Lactation:

• Use only if clearly needed and under medical supervision.

Drug Interactions:

• Caution if using other topical ocular NSAIDs concurrently.
