Medication Name: Diacurimap Plus 5/10mg 30 Tablets

Active Ingredients:

• Dapagliflozin 5 mg

• Vildagliptin 10 mg

Pharmacological Class:
Combination of SGLT2 inhibitor and DPP-4 inhibitor

Indication:
Used in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus to improve glycemic control when diet, exercise, and monotherapy with either component are insufficient.

Dosage:
One tablet once daily, or as directed by the physician.
Dose adjustments may be required based on renal function and blood glucose response.

Administration:

• Take orally with or without food.

• Swallow the tablet whole; do not crush or chew.

• Maintain adequate hydration during treatment.

Precautions:

• Assess renal function before starting therapy and periodically thereafter.

• Not recommended in patients with severe renal impairment or diabetic ketoacidosis.

• Monitor for symptoms of hypoglycemia, especially if combined with insulin or sulfonylureas.

• Use caution in patients with liver impairment.

Possible Side Effects:
Hypoglycemia (especially when used with insulin or sulfonylureas), urinary tract infections, genital infections, nausea, headache, increased urination, and rarely pancreatitis.
