Composition

Each rectal suppository contains:

• Paracetamol 120 mg – pain reliever and fever reducer

Indications

Used for:

• Relief of mild to moderate pain (headache, toothache, menstrual pain)

• Reduction of fever

Mechanism of Action

• Paracetamol: inhibits prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system, reducing pain and fever.

Dosage & Administration

• Adults & children (as directed by a physician): 1 suppository rectally every 4–6 hours as needed

• Do not exceed the recommended daily dose

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to paracetamol or any component of the formulation

• Severe liver disease

Precautions

• Avoid using with other paracetamol-containing products to prevent overdose

• Consult a doctor if symptoms persist for more than 3 days

Side Effects

• Rare: allergic reactions, skin rash, nausea

• Overdose may cause liver damage
