Active Ingredient:

• Diosmectite 3 g per sachet

Indications:

• Acute and chronic diarrhea in adults and children

Mechanism of Action:

• Diosmectite is a natural aluminomagnesium silicate clay that coats and protects the gastrointestinal mucosa.

• It binds to toxins, bacteria, and viruses in the gut, reducing their harmful effects and fluid loss.

Dosage and Administration:

• Adults: 3 sachets per day (one sachet, three times daily).

• Children: Dose adjusted according to age (usually 1–2 sachets daily).

• Dissolve each sachet in half a glass of water before administration.

• Take between meals.

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to diosmectite

• Intestinal obstruction

Precautions:

• Maintain adequate hydration, especially in cases of acute diarrhea.

• Use with caution in patients with severe chronic constipation.
