Azarga eye drops

Azarga Eye Drops (5 ml)

Active Ingredients:

• Brinzolamide 10 mg/ml

• Timolol maleate 5 mg/ml

Therapeutic Class:
Antiglaucoma and ocular hypotensive agent.

Uses:
Azarga is used to reduce elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with:

• Open-angle glaucoma

• Ocular hypertension
  It works by decreasing the production of aqueous humor (fluid inside the eye), helping to lower eye pressure and prevent optic nerve damage.

Dosage:

• Instill one drop in the affected eye(s) twice daily (morning and evening).

• Shake well before use.

• After application, press the inner corner of the eye (nasolacrimal duct) for about 1 minute to reduce systemic absorption.

Warnings:

• Do not use if allergic to sulfonamides or beta-blockers.

• Caution in patients with asthma, COPD, heart failure, or bradycardia.

• Remove contact lenses before use; wait 15 minutes before reinserting them.

• For ophthalmic use only; do not ingest.

• Keep bottle tightly closed and store below 30°C.

Common Side Effects:

• Blurred vision after instillation

• Eye discomfort or irritation

• Taste disturbance or dry mouth

• Rarely, dizziness or slow heartbeat
