Composition

Each suppository contains:

• Progesterone 200mg

Indications

• Luteal phase support in assisted reproductive techniques (ART) such as IVF

• Treatment of threatened or recurrent miscarriage due to progesterone deficiency

• Support in menstrual disorders related to luteal insufficiency

• Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) as part of estrogen-progesterone combination

Mechanism of Action

• Progesterone transforms the endometrium into a secretory phase suitable for implantation and pregnancy maintenance

• Inhibits uterine contractions to support early pregnancy

Dosage & Administration

• Vaginal route (preferred): 1 suppository (200mg) once or twice daily, as prescribed

• Rectal route: 1 suppository daily if vaginal use is not suitable

• Dosage and duration depend on indication and medical supervision

Contraindications

• Undiagnosed vaginal bleeding

• Known or suspected malignancy of the breast or genital organs

• Liver disease or dysfunction

• Thromboembolic disorders
