Orchacortin 1% Eye Ointment 5gm<\/strong><\/p>\n

Generic Name:<\/strong> Hydrocortisone 1% ophthalmic ointment<\/p>\n

Formulation:<\/strong> Eye ointment, 5 gm tube<\/p>\n

Indications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • \n

    Treatment of inflammatory eye conditions such as allergic conjunctivitis, keratitis, blepharitis, or post-surgical inflammation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Reduces redness, swelling, and irritation of the eye.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Dosage & Administration:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • \n

      Apply a thin ribbon of ointment to the affected eye(s) 2\u20133 times daily, or as prescribed by a doctor.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Wash hands before application and avoid touching the tip of the tube to the eye.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Remove contact lenses before use.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Can be applied at night for prolonged contact.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Contraindications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Hypersensitivity to hydrocortisone or any component of the formulation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        Viral, fungal, or mycobacterial eye infections (unless directed by a doctor).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
