    Indications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Prevention of pregnancy (oral contraception)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Regulation of menstrual cycles and reduction of menstrual pain<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Improvement of acne in women seeking oral contraception<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Mechanism of Action:<\/strong>
      Yasmin prevents ovulation by suppressing the release of gonadotropins (FSH and LH). It also thickens cervical mucus to hinder sperm movement and alters the endometrium to reduce the likelihood of implantation.<\/p>\n

      Dosage and Administration:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        One tablet daily for 21 consecutive days, at the same time each day.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        After finishing the 21 tablets, a 7-day tablet-free interval follows, during which withdrawal bleeding usually occurs.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        A new pack is started after the 7-day break, even if bleeding has not stopped.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        If a tablet is missed, contraceptive protection may be reduced; follow the missed-dose instructions provided in the leaflet.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          Headache, breast tenderness<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          Mood changes, reduced libido<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          Irregular menstrual bleeding or spotting<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Rare: thromboembolic events (deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Precautions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

            Contraindicated in women with a history of venous or arterial thrombosis, cerebrovascular or coronary artery disease, liver tumors, severe hepatic impairment, or hormone-sensitive malignancies.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            Caution in smokers over 35 years old and in women with hypertension or diabetes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n
