    Losartan 50 mg<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Therapeutic Class:<\/strong>
    Angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) \u2013 Antihypertensive<\/p>\n

    Indications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • \n

      Hypertension (high blood pressure)<\/strong> in adults<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      May help reduce cardiovascular risk<\/strong> and protect renal function<\/strong> in selected patients<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Dosage:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      • \n

        Usual adult dose:<\/strong> One tablet once daily, preferably in the morning<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Can be taken with or without food<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Dose adjustments may be required based on blood pressure response, kidney function, and tolerance<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Mechanism of Action:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          Blocks angiotensin II type 1 (AT1) receptors, preventing vasoconstriction and aldosterone secretion<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
