Active Ingredients:<\/strong> Amoxicillin 875 mg + Clavulanic acid 125 mg<\/p>\n

Pharmacologic Class:<\/strong> Broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic (\u03b2-lactam) combined with \u03b2-lactamase inhibitor<\/p>\n

Indications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • \n

    Respiratory tract infections (such as sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Ear, nose, and throat infections (such as otitis media and tonsillitis).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Urinary tract infections.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Skin and soft tissue infections.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Bone and joint infections.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Dental infections.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    \n

    Dosage and Administration:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • \n

      Adults: 1 tablet (1000 mg) every 12 hours, or as directed by a physician.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Take at the start of a meal to reduce gastrointestinal discomfort.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Swallow tablets whole with water\u2014do not crush or chew.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Complete the full course even if symptoms improve.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      \n

      Contraindications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • \n

        Hypersensitivity to penicillins, cephalosporins, or any component of the drug.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        History of liver dysfunction or jaundice associated with amoxicillin\/clavulanate use.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        \n

        Precautions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        • \n

          Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney impairment (dose adjustment may be needed).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Prolonged use may cause secondary infections such as oral or vaginal fungal overgrowth.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          May interfere with oral contraceptive effectiveness\u2014additional contraception is advised during treatment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
