Indications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • \n

    Respiratory tract infections such as bronchitis and pneumonia.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Urinary tract infections.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Sexually transmitted infections including chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis (as part of combination therapy).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Acne and skin infections.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Malaria prophylaxis and treatment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Rickettsial infections (such as typhus and Rocky Mountain spotted fever).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    \n

    Dosage and Administration:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • \n

      Adults: Usually 200 mg once daily or 100 mg every 12 hours, depending on the type and severity of infection.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Take with a full glass of water while sitting or standing upright to avoid throat irritation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Preferably taken with food or milk to minimize stomach upset (absorption may be slightly reduced but remains effective).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Avoid lying down for at least 30 minutes after taking the tablet.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
