    Mechanism of Action:<\/strong>
    Cefixime inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs), leading to bacterial cell lysis and death.<\/p>\n

    Dosage and Administration:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Adults and adolescents (\u226512 years):<\/strong> 200 mg every 12 hours or 400 mg once daily.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Children (\u22656 months):<\/strong> Dose adjusted by weight (8 mg\/kg\/day, once daily or divided twice daily).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
