Indications:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Daktarin cream is used for treatment of superficial fungal infections<\/strong> of the skin, including:<\/p>\n

    Athlete\u2019s foot (tinea pedis)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Jock itch (tinea cruris)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Ringworm (tinea corporis)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Minor Candida (yeast) skin infections<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Other superficial dermatophyte or yeast infections<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Mechanism of Action:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    • \n

      Miconazole inhibits ergosterol synthesis<\/strong>, a key component of fungal cell membranes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      This disrupts the fungal membrane, causing death of the fungus<\/strong> and resolution of infection.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      \n

      Dosage and Administration:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
        \n
      • \n

        Apply a thin layer<\/strong> to the affected area and surrounding skin 2\u20133 times daily<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Wash and dry the affected area before application.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Continue treatment for the full recommended duration<\/strong>, usually 2\u20134 weeks<\/strong>, even if symptoms improve early.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
